Everything old is new again.
When you talk to a YouTube content creator about what type of videos they make, it’s usually never a short answer. They all do it all.
Well, one of the ONE HUNDRED things I try to mention, when asked about creating cooking videos, is that these videos are evergreen.
Evergreen meaning, cooking videos are usually just as informative when they are first published as they are years later. And the top view getters for 2013 showcase that point like a text book.
Classic Brownies is indeed a classic. Published in February 2012, it garnered more views than any video created in 2013. And it’s still my go-to brownie recipe, now I just use dark chocolate cocoa powder. As for the April Fool’s Day Food Prank Fails published in March 2012, I guess the YouTube audience will always love the words “prank” and “fail.”
So, from Brownies to Burritos the playlist above features the Top 13 Most Popular Videos of 2013. A BIG BETTY THANK YOU to everyone who has ever watched, liked, favorited and shared Average Betty videos! Without YOU there is no show, just some crazy lady in the kitchen with her baby and a weird hobby.
