Ingredients for Julia Child’s Oil and Lemon Dressing:
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon salt, plus more, if needed
1/2 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup fine fresh oil
Freshly ground pepper
NOTES: Makes about one cup dressing. Store in the refrigerator, covered, for up to a week.
Directions for Oil and Lemon Dressing:
1) Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake.
2) Serve over salad and shake to mix as needed.
