Julia Child’s Birthday is August 15, 1912. She would have been 100 years old this year.
Julia Child is one of the most revered chefs and women in our history. Strong and smart, she is also one of the most quoted. Quite honestly, I think Julia Child has a lot more in common with the Honey Badger than most people realize.
Take for example, Julia’s sentiment, “The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. In cooking you’ve got to have a what-the-hell attitude.”
Or the idea that, “The best way to execute French cooking is to get good and loaded and whack the hell out of a chicken.”
See? Julia Child don’t care. She just cooks what she wants.
