Woman up! This spicy cocktail is dedicated to Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen. As part of a YouTube Next Chef assignment, Hannah requested the Next Chefs create a spicy cocktail in response to the belief that the world will come to end in 2012.
Well, good news! According to the Mayan Calendar, we have until December 21, 2012 before the end of days… So, woman up! We’ve got some drinking to do!
Moscow Mules are really easy to make and perfect for both the professional and casual drunk. For added instruction and entertainment, watch the How to Make a Moscow Mule video.
Ingredients for Moscow Mule:
4 ounces premium vodka
12 ounces ginger beer
1 ounce fresh lime juice
Notes: Makes two Moscow Mules. Ginger Ale may be substituted for ginger beer if needed. Add fresh sliced ginger root for more ginger kick, or candied ginger for more ginger sweetness. Traditionally, copper mugs are used for Moscow Mules. Try Irish Whiskey in place of the vodka for an Irish Mule or Tequila for a Mexican Burro.
Directions:
1) Fill two clean glasses halfway with ice.
2) Add two ounces vodka to each glass.
3) Squeeze 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice into each glass.
4) Distribute ginger beer equally into the two glasses.
5) Garnish as desired and serve immediately.
Share and Enjoy. And be careful out there ;)
