This Sesame Ginger Dressing is great as a marinade or salad dressing. Try my Sesame Ginger Grilled Carrots, or experiment with Spring’s bounty of Asparagus and Radishes. Want to serve the carnivores something unique? Use as a marinade for steak, chicken, pork or fish. How’s that for versatile?
For an Asian Chicken Salad, toss Sesame Ginger Dressing with greens, julienned carrots and red bell peppers, chopped green onion, edamame and crispy wonton strips. Grilled, fried, or rotisserie chicken, all complete a hearty entree salad.
Ingredients for Sesame Ginger Dressing:
2 TBSP finely minced ginger root
3 TBSP sesame oil
3 TBSP canola oil
3 TBSP honey or agave nectar
1 TBSP lime juice
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 TBSP Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon Sriracha or similar hot chili sauce/paste
NOTES:
Makes about 1 cup dressing. For added lime flavor, use zest of one lime. Store, covered, in the refrigerator for one week.
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake well.
