LOOK! A Porktastic Giveaway!
Do I have your attention? Good.
Let’s talk about a little Porktastic Information first.
Have you heard about the new names for cuts of Pork?
Are you confused? Maybe a little annoyed?
Well, you shouldn’t be!
The National Pork Board has changed the names of many pork cuts to align with cuts of beef. So really, there is only one set of names to remember. That’s easier isn’t it?
What? You’re one of those people that hates change?
What if Google still called itself Backrub? How would we Google things on the internet? Saying, “Let me Backrub that real quick,” sounds downright silly. Google is way better.
Now that we have that settled, you’re excited about these new pork cut names, aren’t you? Good. Here’s a handy NEW PORK CUT NAMES GUIDE:
Not only do the new names for cuts of Pork coincide with cuts of beef, according to the National Pork Board, all pork chops can be cooked like your favorite steak. Now, selecting and preparing juicy, tender and flavorful pork is just as easy as selecting your favorite cuts of beef.
What’s more, there’s help right in the meat case! New labeling will help you determine the name, characteristics and best preparation method for your selected cut of Pork. You could practically pick out Pork blindfolded, right?
OK. Back to the Porktastic Giveaway!

Dale Berman says
I enjoy breaded pork chops lightly pan fried in oil like fried chicken then I make an old family recipe sauce with brown sugar, lemons and all things ketchup. I then place the lightly cooked breaded chops in a oven safe glass dish with the sauce smothered all over the chops with sliced lemons, cover with tin foil and then bake at 350 for about 50 minutes. They are yummy
