For the seventeenth consecutive year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has chosen Chef Wolfgang Puck to create the decadent menu for the 83rd Academy Awards® Governors Ball, the official afterparty of the Oscars. Together with Chef Partner Matt Bencivenga and Executive Pastry Chef Sherry Yard, Chef Puck creates a culinary masterpiece to honor Hollywood’s “brightest stars and most accomplished artists” where only the “finest ingredients and flavors will do.”
Also for the seventeenth consecutive year, Average Betty is not on the Governors Ball guest list.
And even though this party is for Hollywood’s A-list, thanks to Wolfgang Puck Catering we not only have a delicious sneak peek of this year’s Governors Ball menu, we’ve also got recipes and a video… coming soon!
The menu features a vegetarian entree created in honor of Black Swan and Best Actress nominee, Natalie Portman: A Butler-served Vegetable Paella with Saffron, White Wine, Chili and Parsley (left).
