This spooky season I’m sharing the coolest ghoulishness I’ve seen Around the Wicked Web…
Miki from Miki’s Pantry on YouTube has some of the most creative cookie ideas I’ve ever seen. Even though a lot of her cookies are cut-outs, she doesn’t confine her concepts to the shape of the cutter.
And Miki’s Pac-Man Ghost Cookies are a great example of the whimsy that can come out at Halloween.
I mean, who says Halloween treats need to be scary anyway? Not that I didn’t exert plenty of freakish schoolgirl gamer adrenaline, joystick in hands, trying to outrun Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it was out of terror.
In her step-by-step video, Miki starts with a simple round cookie cutter, but in a few simple, ingenious steps, ends up with an iconic ghost shape just ready for baking and decorating. Of course you can make these ghosts as scary… or as colorful as you like.
Get the complete recipe for Pac-Man Ghost Cookies on her blog, Miki’s Pantry.
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Miki’s Pantry on YouTube and LIKE her on Facebook, because I haven’t even told you how she turns a regular old gingerbread man cookie cutter into a spooky gingerbread skeleton.

They are cute.
I would probably have used an edible pen, especially if I would have to do a lot of them.
But I really like the easy frosting recipe. :)

The pleasure is all mine, Miki! Thanks so much for your beautiful personality and creative recipes!
Hi Jan, Aren’t they cute? An edible pen is a great idea – I love the way Miki shows how you can achieve such cute creations without special equipment though.
