Do you remember Huell Howser? He had a show on KCET forever… and unfortunately he passed away not too long ago. I loved everything about Huell’s show. His relaxed demeanor, the twang in his voice and especially his interview style.
I actually saw him in person once when we were both covering the Grilled Cheese Invitational, but never got the chance to meet him.
I like to think that if Huell Howser ever tried my Fried Rice, he’d say it’s a little piece of California’s Gold.
