Ingredients for Crock Pot Lasagna:
10 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (about 3 cups)
3 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese (about 1 cup)
16 ounces ricotta cheese (about 2 1/2 cups)
1 large egg, beaten
3 TBSP half n half
1/4 tsp salt
5-6 cups Meat Sauce
12 uncooked lasagne noodles
NOTES:
I used a 4.5 quart crock pot. As all crock pots vary, adjust cooking times until lasagna noodles are desired consistency and texture. Be sure to use plenty of sauce as the uncooked noodles will absorb more moisture.
DIRECTIONS:
1) In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, beaten egg, half-n-half and salt.
2) In a crock pot, layer sauce, uncooked lasagna noodles, ricotta mixture and shredded cheeses until you have used all the ingredients, ending with a topping of mozzarella.
3) Place the lid on the crock pot and cook on high for 2-3 hours, or 6-8 hours on low.
