I was curious about the Animal Fries rumored to be on the In-N-Out Secret Menu. I heard about them but had yet to see them. I checked the In-N-Out website and found the Animal Style burger, but nothing about fries. I started to wonder who would really eat these anyway if these alleged $4 fries really exist. I wondered why I cared. And then I saw them.
The name Animal conjures up the image of a beast and these fries deliver. Other than a drink, spork and napkin it was the only thing on this girl’s tray. No burger. I guess when you eat Animal Fries you probably don’t need a burger too. And if you aren’t that discerning, Animal Fries are technically vegetarian, right?
So, for anyone wondering, here’s the Animal Fries addition to the Not-So-Secret In-N-Out Menu: An order of our freshly cut fries topped with melting cheese, grilled onions and spread. No burger required.

I had these once. Pass. Sorry but I don’t like my fries dripping with toppings and finding that the bottom ones are so saturated that I cannot grab a piece that is unslopped. Way too messy and why eat fries with a fork, no way.

Animal Fries are awesome. If you don’t want them you are missing out. Give me Animal Fries with my Animal Style Double Double!
It’s just like eating chili fries, how can you not love them?

Hey Dan! I have never had them so I may be missing out… which isn’t to say I wouldn’t try some if I was with the right dining companion ;) I dunno… I enjoy a classic Double Double and plain fries. Maybe you’re just more of an animal than me lol

Not for me! My stomach churns just looking at them. Dan, you must be a real animal ;)

I have to back up Dan here. These are delicious. I only get them at In N Out. I never get regular fries there. It’s a very good alternative to the traditional fries-and-ketchup combo. To be honest, the fries at In N Out aren’t spectacular; I mean they’re good, but the animal-style fries makes it 10x better!
