Average Betty had a great run on The MyTV Show on ManiaTV. Average Betty was voted the #3 MyTV Show producer and had an entire MyTV Show episode devoted to Average Betty’s culinary comedy on Thursday, May 17th! And the news gets better… The MyTV Show was a huge success and was given the green light for Season Two, and Mania TV has asked Average Betty back as a featured producer! The MyTV Show Season Two premiers in June… more details to follow.

I like to make smoked German sausage using my grandma’s recipe. We would get together once a year and make a huge batch. Being the computer geek, I wanted to protect the sausage from freezer burn, and that is what threw me over the top for vacuum sealing.
It is funny, when I saw your Mac Daddy n Cheese, I thought, I should make a big batch, portion them into single servings, and vacuum seal them to make boil-in-the-bag Mac Daddy n Cheese! Then I could have it as a quick and easy side dish any time.
I’m going camping this weekend, and it would be a perfect side dish to take along. Boil-in-the-bag meals are great for camping because it is easy, and I won’t have any dirty dishes to clean)

Betty you are AMAZING!! Your Mac Daddy and cheese is very close to whay my dear mother used to make when we were kids. I like adding the Parmesan, gives it just a little bite.
BTW- I cooked up a really tasty recipe for Italian Quinoa that’s fairly healthy if you’d like to try it. Thanks for all of your hard work.
