I am off to San Francisco for the Tasty Awards! Thanks again to everyone that voted for me! Win or lose, I’m honored to be nominated for two awards, proud to attend the Tasty Awards ceremony, and excited to meet good people. (I’m also loving a getaway to the bay area and its tasty local fare!) My last trip to San Francisco produced the Bam-a-Lamb Burger video and introduced me to Chef Gloria’s delicious Lamb Burger recipe. It was a classic San Francisco getaway featuring the fine food and people of Big 4 Restaurant, and the warm, luxurious hospitality of the Huntington Hotel on Nob Hill. I also had the pleasure of meeting (and interviewing) Ron Henggeler, San Francisco historian, photographer, artist and waiter at Big 4 Restaurant.
