My friends at Kodak asked if I’d like to try out a waterproof PlaySport video camera in the test kitchen. I already use the Kodak PlayTouch and love it, so when Kodak suggested I toss the PlaySport into a pot of soup, well, how could I resist? They also asked if I’d shoot a clip for this How Do You Play? video.
I didn’t realize this video clip would be part of a campaign featuring Pitbull! I watch the video with a smile as the faces of my buddies Steve Garfield, Jolene Sugarbaker and Andrew Bennett go by. I marvel at the 3D video created by Edward Wang. Then, around the 2:20 mark, it’s me! And then… Pitbull. We opened for Pitbull.
Shocked, I think of a hundred Spinal Tap references. I think of how I’ve been singing, humming and krumping to Give Me Everything all summer long. Kodak could have called this video Puppet Show and Pitbull.
What a fun summer surprise! Thanks, Kodak!

Is it really waterproof? I’ve gotten many wet socks in my day while wearing waterproof boots. :) I am indebted to Kodak for introducing me to Averagebetty. It wasn’t food…I was researching printer related stuff and stumbled across one of your vids. I remember thinking “corn dogs?!” LOL… but I was smitten. :)
