This Mother’s Day, Betty teams up with Daddy Brad of Dad Labs to make a brunch that is sure to score brownie points with Mom. Brad has no trouble whipping up Betty’s classic Sour Cream Coffee Cake but he’s not feeling too sure of his skills with Betty’s latest recipe, Green Chili Egg Casserole. Betty walks Brad through the recipe to make sure he washes his hands and doesn’t eat raw eggs! Watch the Mother’s Day Menu for Dad Labs video now!
Thanks, Dad Labs! And Happy Mother’s Day to all you mothers out there!
SHOUTOUT TO THE MOTHERS!
Betty’s Mom, mother of six, is a huge inspiration for Average Betty! After all, Betty’s Mom cooked for a family of eight practically every single day! That’s a lot of recipes (and a lot of dishes). One of Betty’s faves from childhood is Mama Betty’s Dinner Rolls, which happens to be the most downloaded recipe on averagebetty.com! Have you made Mama Betty’s Dinner Rolls yet?
The video behind the Dinner Roll recipe, Stop, Drop and Dinner Roll, tells the story of the sometimes volatile relationship many teenage daughters have with their loving mothers. Is this how Betty was with her mother? Maybe a little. But Betty’s much sweeter now, and she thanks her Mom for all the love and support, for always being there, and of course, for sharing her Dinner Roll recipe with the Internets! Happy Mother’s Day, Mama Betty!
Best in Grilled Cheese was also featured on YouTube! If it’s one thing almost everyone can agree on, it’s that grilled cheese is one of the greatest sandwiches ever! You gotta watch the Best in Grilled Cheese video!
Another gift from the YouTube Gods was a Spotlight of Betty’s recent video, Fast Food Five: Rock the Food I, featuring Anthony Bourdain! The editorial reads, “Fave Band as a Food? Average Betty asks experts like Anthony Bourdain this puzzling, yet entertaining question.” You gotta watch the Fast Food Five: Rock the Food I video! Thanks, YouTube! Betty loves you!
