It seems like science is constantly bringing the party down with new studies of things that either threaten our health or damage our planet. Boo hoo!
Every once in a while, however, science delights us with awesome news… like the recent study of the health benefits of dark chocolate! Betty likey this, so she celebrates with her delicious Chocolate Cookie Sundae! But just as Betty is explaining that her sundae is not a “healthy” dark chocolate recipe, the show is unexpectedly interrupted and a bomb is dropped that totally brings the chocolate party down!
Can it be true? Is Average Betty a murderer? Check out CSI: Cookie Sundae Investigation to find out for yourself!

SPECIAL THANKS to Shane Leady for suggesting the Betty-CSI parody. Hope you like this one, Shane. Can you name the other shows Betty mashed-up in this episode?
BIGTIME BETTY NEWS! Betty loves Crackle… the awesome video website! Crackle, formerly Grouper, like Yahoo! Video, has a “Food & Drink” category! That’s reason enough to know this is a quality service with some sharp people behind the wheel. If the fine ladies Betty spoke with are any indication of the rest of the company, then Crackle is a winner! Whether you are a video producer looking for a great site to upload your vids to, or you enjoy watching great online video, go check out Crackle! And be sure to visit Average Betty’s channel.
What’s Betty watching? A podcast called Cooking Up A Story. Simply put, it’s a “show about food and people.” Rebecca Gerendasy, the artist behind the show, puts together “stories that reveal the character and passion of real people who share a special connection with food and sustainable living.” Quite a departure from the antics of Average Betty. Check it out!
There’s no point in hiding it any longer! Betty is madly in love with Tilzy.TV! She can discover cool online video Sites, keep up with the latest in online entertainment News and get a big head at the same time!
Go Global! Global internetTV Portal is “your gateway to THE global internetTV database!” Want the most comprehensive database of Global Entertainment without having to deal with airport security? Gloabal-iTV has it all! Average Betty is featured on the Gloabal-iTV home page; the international traffic has been so spectacular Betty is a bit jet-lagged! Thanks, Global-iTV!
COOL VIEWER SHOUT-OUTS! Betty thanks all of the super cool people that watch, vote and comment on her vids, especially those that email to give feedback and keep in touch! And boy, do some of Betty’s viewers have a long reach!
Recently, Betty heard from Dan H in Australia who offered up a recipe for Kangaroo Stir-fry! Fortunately, Dan says you can substitute beef or lamb for the kangaroo because Betty’s local meat market hung up on her for making such a request!
Michael F from Germany wrote in and is eager to see Betty prepare his favorite Bavarian dish, SEMMELKN DEL with Cream-Sauce! Betty could sure use a few pointers with this one (starting with the pronunciation), Michael, but she can hold her own with the Erdingers!
Somewhat more locally, Betty heard from Paul B in Dayton, Ohio who shared a number of fun recipes and tried a few of Betty’s with great reviews! Just last weekend Paul tried Cuckoonut Shrimp. He even compared Betty’s Mac Daddy n’ Cheese to his Mom’s. Can a review get any better than that? (No, it can’t.) Paul enjoys the finer things in life like “really good coffee, really good chocolate [and] really good bourbon” so it’s awesome that he takes time for Average Betty! Thanks, Paul!
Not to be outdone by the boys, the ladies are showing up in force! Shelly D, a work at home mother of two from Belleville, IL who loves martinis and gambling has posted several Betty vids to her blog showing Betty some serious love! Shelly wrote to tell Betty, “My family and I love the Mac Daddy n’ Cheese. We did like a certain box kind until we tried the recipe. It was easy to make and you can use different noodles and we sometimes put cubed ham in it. This is a great site. I truly am a fan! ” Love the variation on the recipe and the blog, Shelly! You are a great writer and funny gal… Betty is a true fan of YOURS!
Anne F wrote to share a recipe and a touching story about her Dad, Gene “The Whistling Mailman of Kirkwood, Missouri,” who shared Betty’s “Work with whatcha got!” motto and prepared “good & healthy” family meals “from what we had in the house…” Awesome, Anne! Your Dad was a pioneering “food hacker” and an amazing man! Thanks for reaching out and sharing your story.
And last but certainly not least, Mishi B – a great friend, fantastic cook, beautiful wife and successful career woman is a true Average Betty champion! Mishi spreads the Average Betty word far and wide emailing video links to help Betty go viral! Thanks, Mishi… and GO RED SOX! But if you don’t give up the Eggplant Parmesan recipe, things could get ugly ;)
Thanks for watching!

I just think your show is a fantastic idea, and on top of that I don’t think that much is “average” about you!
Average Betty says
