I just returned from Vegas Uncork’d and now I know what it feels like to come back down to Earth… minus the spacesuit. Moments after arriving at the culinary event of my life, I find myself in a Cat Cora – Hubert Keller sandwich. Somebody pinch me!
Team Betty captured hundreds of beautiful photographs, hours of delicious video, and made more incredible memories than we ever imagined. Wow wow wow!

The festivities are kicked off by Barbara Fairchild, Editor-in-Chief, Bon Appetit; the Happiest Mayor in the Universe, Oscar Goodman; and a “welcoming committee” of over forty of the world’s greatest chefs.
A champagne sabering by Chef Alain Ducasse is the official blast off to another galaxy.
The Masters’ Series provides intimate, behind-the-scenes experiences in the kitchens of such celebrated chefs as Guy Savoy, Bradley Ogden and Joachim Splichal.
The Grand Tasting at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace can only be described as epic: A glamorous red carpet; exquisite food, wine and spirits as far as the eye can see; and of course, celebrity chefs.
And if that isn’t enough, Olympic figure skater and fashion icon, Johnny Weir, Miss USA Kristen Dalton and Canadian Olympic legend Alexandre Bilodeau were there, too. And just a dollop of GTL.
The Celebrity Chef Blackjack Tournament chaser at Encore got the competitive juices flowing…
… and presented a unique opportunity to see celebrity chefs compete in an arena other than Kitchen Stadium.
There was even a chance to hone cooking skills at the Interactive Luncheon with Paul Bartolotta to learn the art of preparing whole fish of the Mediterranean.
From poolside parties to all of the decadent cuisine in between, I have so much to share. Meeting so many extraordinary chefs can only be described as a culinary fairytale.
Interviews with the legendary Wolfgang Puck; Executive Chef, Bon Appetit, Cat Cora; Executive Chef, Simon at Palms Place, Kerry Simon; Executive Chef, Wazuzu at Encore, Jet Tila; and Corporate Executive Chef, Dos Caminos Modern Mexican Kitchen, Scott Linquist are all coming!
