The Endless Summer of Salad continues! I’ve tossed a lot of salads this summer and here’s a super fun and easy way to serve them. If you’ve ever wondered how to make a Flour Tortilla Salad Bowl, I’m here to dispel the mystery!
What you need to Make a Flour Tortilla Salad Bowl:
flour tortilla
oil for brushing or spraying
oven safe bowl, approximately same size in diameter as flour tortilla
Preheat oven to 325 (F). Brush or spray olive oil on a flour tortilla making sure to get the edges.
Gently push tortilla into bowl. The edges of the tortilla should come up, just above the lip of the bowl. You can use tortillas as large or as small as you like — consider using a muffin tin and very small tortillas for mini-bowls.
Bake tortilla in preheated 325 (F) oven for 20 minutes, until golden and crisp. Fill with your favorite salad and enjoy!
