I just returned from Vegas Uncork’d and now I know what it feels like to come back down to Earth… minus the spacesuit. Moments after arriving at the culinary event of my life, I find myself in a Cat Cora – Hubert Keller sandwich. Somebody pinch me!

The festivities are kicked off by Barbara Fairchild, Editor-in-Chief, Bon Appetit; the Happiest Mayor in the Universe, Oscar Goodman; and a “welcoming committee” of over forty of the world’s greatest chefs.
A champagne sabering by Chef Alain Ducasse is the official blast off to another galaxy.
The Grand Tasting at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace can only be described as epic: A glamorous red carpet; exquisite food, wine and spirits as far as the eye can see; and of course, celebrity chefs.
The Celebrity Chef Blackjack Tournament chaser at Encore got the competitive juices flowing…
There was even a chance to hone cooking skills at the Interactive Luncheon with Paul Bartolotta to learn the art of preparing whole fish of the Mediterranean.
