But, Betty’s found one. The Perfect Shrimp.
Not only are they delicious, they are fast and easy.
That really is perfect.
The Perfect Shrimp a la Average Betty
While your grill or skillet is preheating, prepare your ingredients as follows.
Pour enough extra virgin olive oil over clean, raw, deviened-detailed shrimp to coat.
Then, season to taste with:
cayenne pepper
black pepper
salt
garlic powder
dried parsley
Stripeel* an English cucumber.
Slice corresponding cukes to shrimp.
Arrange on serving plate.
Peel an avocado. Slice corresponding avocado to cuke and shrimp. Set aside.
Get out your Sriracha hot sauce… known to many as simply The Rooster Sauce.
And, don’t forget the toasted sesame seeds.
Get ready!
Grill your shrimp. 4-5 minutes… total. That’s like 2 minutes a side, yo.
Toss grilled shrimps with a small amount of butter and generous squeeze of lemon.
Place one shrimp per cucumber slice.
Squeeze a little or a lot of the Sriracha.
It’s spicy!
Top with avocado slices and sesame seeds.
Perfect!
