The Caprese Quesadilla is fusion cuisine at its finest. Am I right?
I didn’t grow up eating quesadillas and I’m not even exactly sure when I saw my first flour tortilla. It was definitely not at my house.
Somehow or another I discovered flour tortillas and the all mighty quesadilla in my teens.
Needless to say a lot has changed since then, but the easy-cheesy quesadilla has stood the test of time.
Something I did grow up with, that has also stood the test of time is Farberware Cookware.
And Farberware is having a giveaway you might want to know about because it’s as easy as pinning the cookware set you’d like to win to one of your Pinterest boards. MORE DETAILS HERE.
But about that Caprese Quesadilla — or should I say, Pizzadilla?
Because this quesadilla is really more like a margherita pizza than a burrito or a taco.
And you can do that kind of new fangled fusion with a quesadilla because, you know, quesadillas have stood the test of time.
