Who Dat Spicin’ Up Super Bowl XLIV?

Who are you rooting for? Saints or Colts? Leave a comment.
Chipotle Chicken Chili
One thing you can bet on this Super Bowl XLIV: It’s gonna be spicy! Miami knows how to party without the influx of super-rich athletes and their families, friends and fans, so bringing a Super Bowl to Miami is like throwing gasoline onto a fire. If that isn’t enough, the home of Cajun cuisine, New Orleans sends its Saints and Who Dat Nation to their first Super Bowl ever! If the Saints upset the Indianapolis Cots, the partying in the streets will make the cast of Jersey Shore look like Mouseketeers.

SPICY SUPER BOWL CHILI
Chipotle Chicken Chili
In the spirit of spicy Super Bowl partying, I thought I would share my recipe for spicy Chipotle Chicken Chili and a few Super Bowl party tips. Well, maybe just one really important tip, one friendly reminder and one prediction!

Chipotle Chicken Chili
TIP: Don’t throw a Super Bowl party. Go to a Super Bowl party. At someone else’s house. I mean, if a bunch of juiced up guys stuffed with hot dogs and beer chest bumping in your living room sounds good, then you’re awesome and you should throw a Super Bowl party.

REMINDER: Be a good guest. Always bring something to the party! If you’re bringing goodies that require plates, bowls, cups, spoons or forks, then you might want to bring plates, bowls, cups, spoons or forks. Don’t assume the host will have extras. Napkins are fine for cookies, but cupcakes need both napkins and plates.

PREDICTION: 38-35. Saints. Who Dat Nation and New Orleans mojo will be too much for Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. Even EA Sports Madden Football thinks so.

A CROCK POT OF FUN
Chipotle Chicken Chili
Bite-Size Spice! Serve this Chipotle Chicken Chili up appetizer-style in “scoop” tortilla chips. Arrive at the Super Bowl party with a crockpot of chili, a couple bags of Scoops, a couple avocados, a serving tray and a pile of napkins. Then spice up the party by preparing a tray of bite-size Chipotle Chicken Chili “bowls” and pass them out. You’ll make new friends fast!
